Ana Castelo Branco
Beginning as a copywriter, Ana Castelo Branco has more than 20 years of experience in creating campaigns, concepts and strategies for major Brazilian and international brands. During this time, Ana is also proud of winning some of the most important awards, including Cannes Lions, New York and London Festivals.
Between 2012 and 2016, Ana took some time away from the advertising market to dedicate herself to motherhood and the cause of Down Syndrome (her first child was born with this genetic condition). She created the site Especial É A Mãe and became a recognized ativist of the cause in Brazil. This led Ana to become a columnist and ambassador of the Pais & Filhos Magazine (similar to Parents Magazine in the US) and also to be invited to give several talks, among them, a TED Talk.
After having worked in DM9DDB, Ana is now Creative Director at WMcCann.
