Eighteen years of work experience across advertising agencies in Delhi, Mumbai and Prague. Studied Graphic Design and an eye for interior design, having designed the offices for Mullen Lintas.
I started my career in 2000, at Ogilvy in Delhi. Moving on to Contract after two years, before moving to Mumbai in 2004 to Ogilvy again, moving on to Everest, followed by Ambience Publicis.
In end 2005, I moved to Prague, to work at Leagas Delaney on the Skoda account, Its here that I got hands on experience of a global brand and exposure of working with multi national advertising professionals.
In 2009, I started at Lowe Lintas, back in Mumbai. Through six years working across brands in the Levers portfolio and for projects and pitches with different team leaders across Bangalore, Delhi and Colombo offices gave me immense opportunity to grow inside the system, finally hand picked by Amer Jaleel to be part of a team to branch out with Mullen Lintas.
Spearheading the Creative lead for the Mumbai Branch for Mullen Lintas starting 2016, the new agency had to create work that grabbed eyeballs.
TATA TEA “Preactivism”, the brand took on Gender and Sports as its key issues on ground, and via digital videos and petitions, the legislation was moved to include the two subjects in school. A feat no advertising has achieved before.
MTV BEATS launch, our second brand after VOOT in the Viacom portfolio, an unmarried girl pregnant with MTV’s baby, it broke clutter with a humorous yet apt launch pad for a channel’s successor.
the launch communication for MOTILAL OSWAL’s strategic brand promise, being “focused at equity”. By showcasing everyday people acing at their jobs by just staying focused, in the category stood out, making it the brand of 2017 at the India Business Leader Awards.
For AVENGER’s digital community, we create digital videos to keep the conversation alive for the relevant target group, on the social platform, The brotherhood day and the Independence day ads particularly have brought us recognition.
Leading a multi agency pitch won for TOO YUMM, Sanjiv Goenka’s foray into healthy snacking, PHARMEASY and NYKAA.COM. A fresh positive view on the gender imbalance, skewing to the side of a glorious future.
My strength has been the strategic tie in to the brand communication ideas with creativity that got noticed, collaborating with the team and production houses that went the extra mile.
Mullen Lintas debuted in Brand Equity’s Agency Reckoner at no. 7 in its very second year.
Im now the CCO at Mullen Lintas. Brands including Liva, Wills Lifestlye, Tata Cliq & Axe contribute to the lifestyle portfolio of brands. This year I was also a jury member for Cannes Films.
