Notes for Judging: | KPN, the Netherlands’ largest telecoms brand, wanted to combat online shaming, a fast-growing problem with devastating mental health effects from depression to isolation to suicide. Online shaming is a problem that lives deep in internet culture. To make an impact, we had to tackle it through culture and community, not campaigns. ‘A Piece of Me’ is a poignant song and music video shaped by the true stories of GenZ, shared with acclaimed Dutch singer MEAU. It’s a certified gold record with +10m streams, 202m PR impressions and helped change the law, making it illegal to forward intimate images without consent. |
