Laure Manent is a television journalist who divides her time between writing business columns and presenting Actuelles, France 24's feminist program spotlighting the women and men who are changing the world. This program, awarded with the Ricardo Ortega Prize by the United Nations, interviews the people who are making a difference for women around the world: activists, economists, researchers, ministers or heads of state... Actuelles also goes out into the field, to meet the people who are advancing the cause of women and working to undo patriarchy, with its reports. Laure is French and has always been keen to work from a global perspective. After more than five years in the print media, she joined France 24 at its very beginning, in 2007. There, she worked as a magazine editor, news editor and presenter, and editor-in-chief of Le Journal du Monde, before joining Actuelles in 2022.
