Iva Welker is the CEO of VML Czechia, the largest communications agency in the Czech Republic. Under her leadership, VML helps brands not only look great but also perform effectively. She focuses on advancing the agency’s expertise in Brand and Customer Experience, connecting thoughtful strategy with outstanding creativity and effective solutions to shape the way brands are perceived. The approach is reflected in numerous prestigious awards the agency has earned during her tenure, including Cannes Lions, Effie, Clio and Golden Drum. This year, VML Czechia made Czech advertising history by winning the country’s first-ever Cannes Lions Grand Prix, awarded for the KitKat campaign. Iva believes in ideas that have meaning and impact. She knows how to turn creative concepts into bold and transformative solutions. She is also an active mentor and a source of inspiration for many in the industry. In June 2025, she was elected to the Presidium of the Association of Communication Agencies, a key governing body shaping the direction of the Czech advertising and communications market. She also serves on the Advisory Board of #Holkyzmarketingu, one of the most prominent marketing education communities in the Czech Republic, supporting the professional development of women in the industry.
