Bec Mortimer is Marketing Director at Netflix where she engages audiences with title and brand campaigns that pierce the cultural zeitgeist. A voracious reader, TV-watcher and cinema-goer from an early age, her love for story-telling led to a promising career in publishing, until the day she got fired. Undeterred, and with a pressing need to pay the bills, Bec continued to follow her dream culminating in various leadership roles across the UK entertainment industry including Warner Bros, Universal Pictures, Entertainment One and more recently Netflix. She has been at Netflix for over 8 years and has been privileged to be part of the tremendous growth and success of the company over that time. Bec is a parent to two kids, volunteers with a sustainability charity and skydived twice many years ago and likes to think, given the opportunity, she could do it again.
