Cj de Silva-Ong is a painter, illustrator, and currently a Creative Director at TBWA-Santiago Mangada Puno. Cj’s advertising work has been recognised in local and international shows: she has won in D&AD, Cannes Lions, Clio, AdFest, Spikes Asia, One Show, AMEs, and is part of the team that bagged the country’s first Webby. She was recognised as the #1 Art Director and #1 Young Creative in the Adobo Magazine Philippines Creative Rankings 2015. Cj has been painting since she was five years old and at 11, held her first one-woman exhibit. She illustrated the first LGBT+ focused Filipino children’s book entitled “Ang Ikaklit Sa Aming Hardin” (Ikaklit In Our Garden) written by Bernadette Neri. She also designed and illustrated the cover of Senator Miriam Defensor- Santiago’s book Stupid Is Forever. She hosts and produces a podcast with her husband, entitled “Telebabad Tapes” (Telebabad is a Filipino slang for immersive and lengthy telephone conversations), which consistently is on the TOP 200 podcasts in the Philippines.
