Diana is a Colombian creative who has worked for almost 20 years in the advertising industry, years in which she has also been a teacher, jury, and speaker. She built her career at J. Walter Thompson starting out as the youngest writer, but ten years later and having become Creative Director, she decided to accept the offer to work at Sancho BBDO, where she worked for the next two and a half years. In the course of her career, Diana was selected “Brand Pioneer” (2008) and “High Potential Talent” (2015). In 2012 she had the opportunity to temporarily work at SCPF Barcelona through a talent exchange. Diana has won many important awards such as Cannes, Effie, London, Clio, D&AD, El Sol, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, El Dorado and the first Glass Lion for Colombia with the "Breastfeeding Manequins" campaign that promotes the freedom of breastfeeding , but the most special award (for her) is a world competition called Mofilm Cannes U12 which allowed her to travel the world making documentaries about children under Omo's global concept ”Getting dirty is good”. She was also one of the main creators of some of the most inclusive campaigns carried out by a bank, the first promoting the acceptance of same-sex couples and later the inclusion of women's soccer within soccer promotions, among other things because she is a fan. of soccer although he plays it terrible. In April 2016, she had the honor of being awarded Women to Watch Colombia, an award given to different women in the world for their contribution to the advertising industry, and two months later, she was selected among more than 500 creatives from all over the world. industry, to be part of the See it Be it program in Cannes, a program designed to change the proportion of female leaders in creative departments. At the end of 2019, Diana was appointed General Creative Director of McCann Colombia, a role that has allowed her to help her office and clients stand out in Effie, The One Show and in the top 5 of the Crema ranking, among other recognitions. Now in addition to her local function, she Co-Chairs McCANN Latin America's Creative Leadership Council.
