Mahima’s helping build some of DDB’s biggest global businesses such as Instagram, Volkswagen and Netflix. One of the 30 women handpicked from across the world to be a part of DDB Worldwide’s Phyllis Project, a global initiative committed to increasing the number of female leaders within the network, she’s also made it to the IMPACT Magazine’s Top 30 Under 30 list, twice in a row. The first in the network to do it. Among other things, she’s been a part of some widely loved and awarded campaigns that helped the Indian women’s cricket team get viewership just by making women ask men out on Bumble; got a whole city to turn into shoplifters for a Netflix movie, and made an entirely fictional town the most sought-after vacation destination to sell a show. An avid fan of WFH, most of her work is still done from her beige couch at home, where she tries her hand at becoming a relatable Instagram influencer, between meetings that could’ve been an emoji. This year, she hopes to finally make up her mind if she wants her future bios to be written in first person or third person.
