Conjuring imagery that speaks from the heart has been my joy for as long as I can remember. I believe that every creative message should vividly bring to life stories and create a sense of wonder. Working with VMLY&R Commerce as Sr. Creative Director , over 15 years of experience in art and the culture of creativity. This has included premiere agencies such as DDB Mudra, GroupM Dialogue Factory and, in my latest sphere of activity, VMLY&R.
From my foundational fluency with visual and colour narratives, I immerse myself in every aspect of creative and strategic communication development, involving myself from the moment of creative brief through to insight derivation, idea development and creative execution. My work touches on creative areas such as behaviour change, identity and branding systems, retail and promotional activities, environmental graphics, events, packaging and product design, for a broad range of clients that include Mondelez, Asian Paints, P&G, Castrol, ITC, Coca-Cola, Unilever, TATA and Google Pay to name a few.
As a woman in the creative world, I have felt an imperative to leverage my experience for social upliftment initiatives with women, children, sustainability and healthcare. It has been a proud moment that my contributions to HackWashing - the hand washing campaign at the Kumbh Mela and the rural women Google-driven help program HWGO has uplifted the lives of millions. I expanded my repertoire to create a film and song for Unilever’s Brook Bond tea in the Pakistan market on the festive occasion of Ramadan. I have also worked in complex spaces such as with cigarette and alcohol brands for whom conventional advertising is a significant challenge.
Every day has been a learning opportunity that I have loved. It has taken me to places that were far out of where I would have seen myself including visiting the depths of Naxalite influenced areas to study woman and child nutrition or meeting commercial sex workers as part of an Aids Education Campaign. Ultimately, winning with a high point of a Gold, Silver and Bronze award at Cannes this year for Smart Fill and over the years won metals at , LIA, Dragons, Kyoorius and ADCLUB awards.
Outside of the office, I have grown to love exploring new locations and engaging with communities on sustainability and preservation projects. One day I hope to found a community development NGO that takes forward all my knowledge, experience and passion to create a better world for all.
