Philippa Grob
Creative Director
Jung von Matt/Donau, Vienna
Philippa Grob is a truly multidisciplinary creative. At only 16 years old, she presented her first fashion collection at the Museum of Applied Arts (MAK) in Vienna, her hometown. At the age of 19 she moved to the Netherlands, where she studied at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. Fluent in Dutch and with a degree in Fine Arts she moved back to Vienna to kick-start her career. Philippa quickly figured out that the life of a solo artist wouldn’t make her happy in the long run. Philippa loves working together with other creatives and believes that great ideas often don’t come from lone geniuses. In 2011 she found a place for herself working in advertising. She started out as a graphic designer, but soon after realized she has a talent and love for copywriting. Philippa has worked as a copywriter and creative director for the biggest Austrian as well as international agencies where she has won awards for the work she did for renowned clients (CCA, Effie, Best of Content Marketing-Award, BCM-Grand Prix). Most recently, she even won a silver Venus for her photography at the CCA Award 2021.
