Suzzane Zhang, VP, MW Advisory & Head of Strategy, McCann Worldgroup China, has been leading the strategy team for McCann Worldgroup China since 2017, with a total 19 years of brand and communication planning experience across a wide spectrum of businesses. Suzzane groomed and mentored a new generation of planners across brand, and digital planning disciplines. She also co-founded and chairs APG China, creating a “Planning Community” with over 300 planners in the group to date. Inspired and partnered with creatives in developing award-winning campaigns. In 2022, Suzzane has built a new Strategic Advisory and Consultancy service to help Chinese brands expand their outbound business and assist international brands entering China. Outside of the workplace, Suzzane has given lectures on the importance of strategic thinking in advertising and marketing at NYU, Fudan, Jiaotong, and Shanghai International Universities. She is a frequent judge at industry awards including Effies, WARC, AdFest, etc.
